In June you came to our home and shared the benefits of new windows from D&W over our current 32-year-old aluminum windows. 

You did an excellent job of sharing with us the points that made quality replacement windows and how D&W windows were superior in many ways to others that we had looked at.  We came out to your showroom and you took time to show us the windows on display, your factory and answered more questions for us.

As you know, we decided to purchase our new windows from you and D&W.  Much of our reasoning was due to your professionalism, recommendations and your non-high-pressure sales presentation.  You provided us with options and the reason you recommended D&W windows.  It was an added bonus that you’re a local company and we could in some small way support our local economy.  I know you said that the owner would probably come out to re-measure the window sizes.  To be truthful, I thought it was just another part of your sales pitch, but Dave Wood did call and come out to make sure your measurements were accurate (and they were).

Last Wednesday, your installation crew of Mark and Adam installed our new windows.  I have to share with you that they were very courteous, professional, answered many questions for us and represented D&W Windows very positively.  On one of our windows, our large foyer one, Mark felt that to make it seal and fit properly, he needed to grind back part of the stone front.  The old window had already been removed, so they put a drop cloth over the opening, so when they ground back the stone, no material or dust would come into the house.

Also, mark and Adam noticed that a couple of our screens did not fit properly.  Most likely, this is something that neither my wife nor I would have noticed, but your installers did; and wanting to make sure things were done correctly, took the screens back to your factory, so better fitting ones will replace them.  While Mark was finishing the framing on the inside around the windows, Adam showed and demonstrated how to open and close our new windows and how easy it will be to clean them.  They also cleaned up the outside yard and inside the house before leaving.

Again thanks for your help with our replacement windows.  We had sliders before and now with out new double-hung, the window appears to be larger.  As you know, the wife was somewhat concerned with being able to open the larger 48-inch windows.  You shared with her that because of the way your windows are made and installed, she would have no problem, and you were 100% correct.

We are very happy with our new windows and if we are asked by friends and neighbors about replacement windows, we will be sure to recommend you and D&W Windows and Sunrooms.
